What do teachers need to learn?

This song and video from Kevin Honeycutt in Kansas makes a great case for teachers to catch up with the kids already! What do think about this video? Please leave a comment.

This video is very interesting. I totally agree with the concept of teachers catching up. So many teachers are not open to change and this video maybe the motivation they need to make room for something new.

I think this video is very interesting. It makes a lot of sense because it shows that teachers can learn from their students somtimes. The technology is changing day by day and most of the time students are going to be the first to learn about it. The video is very unique and I liked it very much.

I enjoyed the video. Kids are changing and teachers need to change the way they teach in order to catch up with the kids. I would definitely share this video with teachers all over the world.

I think this is a great video, children today are really advanced and know how to do many things on the internet. My eight year old has been using the internet since he was two thanks to his older brother. He can actually use it better than me. Thanks for sharing. NikkiJ

I love this song and the message behind it. I feel it does not matter how long a teacher has been teaching, he or she should change or adapt to keep up with our youth and the things that they are interested in. Technology makes class and learning more fun and enjoyable. So yes, We do need our teachers to learn at technology most of all.

I think this was a great video depicting the importance of teachers being innovative in the classroom. Technology is a great tool when used properly. It is imperative that teachers stay up on both professional and technological developments in order to create the best possible learning environment for their students. For them to not do so serves as a disservice to the personal growth and development of the students as well as that of the teacher.

The video was slammin'. I can really understand what the students are saying because my 13 year old knows more about techonolgy than I. This summer I am going to change that. Thanks Dr. Fowler 4 schooling me!
